The new home of the deposed emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi in Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has been beefed up with armed security personnel to prevent anyone from gaining access to the vicinity.
When TVC News crew visited the area, they were met with resistance from security operatives who attempted to seize their equipment.
Some traditional rulers who attempted to gain access to the house of the deposed emir were also denied access.
TVC News will be keeping an eye on the deposed emir to see how well he is settling in his new home and role as Chancellor of the Kaduna State University.
His journey to exile started on Monday when the state government announced his dethronement over what it described as disregard for traditional norms.
