Kenya has recorded some progress in its fight against the coronavirus as it announced the first full recovery of a patient with covid-19.
President Uhuru Kenyatta described the full recovery of the patient as encouraging news.
A daily curfew from 7pm to 5am local time is to begin from Friday as the country’s confirmed cases rose to 28.
Tunisia has announced 59 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the country’s total number to 173 as at the end of Wednesday .
The country’s health minister has appealed to people to adhere to the terms of the nationwide lockdown imposed on Sunday.
In Uganda, a temporary ban on public transportation is in place.
President Yoweri Museveni announced a 14-day ban to curb the spread of the coronavirus that began immediately.
Private cars are not permitted to carry above passengers including the driver.
