The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reported 182 new cases of coronavirus, taking the country’s total number of cases to 8,915.
Of the 182 new cases, Lagos recorded the highest number with 111, followed by Abuja with 16.
Akwa Ibom has 10, Oyo 8, Kaduna and Delta 6 cases each, River 5, Ogun and Ebonyi 4 each, Kano 3, Plateau and Gombe 2 cases each, while Kebbi, Kwara, Bauchi and Borno have one case each.
So far, 2,592 patients have been discharged while the country has recorded 259 deaths.
