A tanker filled with fuel has gone up in flames on the Kara bridge inward Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to a statement from the DG/CEO LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, no lives were lost in the process.
“An articulated truck laden with 33,000 litres of premium motor spirit crashed into another articulated truck while driving inward the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
“The impact of the crash resulted in the inferno.
“No lives were lost, however, three articulated trucks were destroyed by the inferno”.
Recovery Operations are still on going as at press time.
