Candidates for this year’s West Africa Examination Council in Osun State today joined their counterparts across the west Africa Sub-region to write their first paper which is Mathematics.
Officials of the state ministry of Education moved round various centres in Osogbo to monitor the examination and most importantly, the compliance with safety protocol as laid down by the NCDC.
The students who arrived as early as 8 o’clock in the morning were provided with water, Soap and Sanitizers by the management of their various schools before allowed access to the examination hall
Addressing the students, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Jamiu Olawumi urged the candidates to be focused and shun all forms of malpractices.
Jamiu Olawumi promised that the ministry will continue to monitor the examination everyday in all centres spread across the state.
