Katsina state government has finally approved the reopening of schools across the state.
This was announced by the State Commissioner of Education, Badamasi Lawal at the end of a special meeting between the ministry, school proprietors and other critical stakeholders on Tuesday.
The new school calendar indicates that classes will be conducted on a shifting basis to ensure full adherence to avoid 19 protocols.
Mr Lawal added that Day and Boarding Secondary Schools would operate from 7:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m for the junior section, while senior section would operate from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Classes are to resume from Monday October 5.
