Suspected herdsmen have attacked Barkin Ladi council of Plateau state, leaving a paramount ruler dead.
The midnight invasion occurred despite renewed efforts by the state government to restore lasting peace in the area.
Authorities at the scene of the attack say the attackers manipulated the victim before killing him.
Some members of the Community are displeased with this and appeal to the state government to provide security in the area.
