The Federal Government has announced that the maximum number of passengers incoming International airlines are permitted to bring in is 200 passengers per trip
This was disclosed in a memo signed by the director-general and CEO of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority Musa Nuhu.
The NCAA said the limitation was due to the limited number of approved incoming
passengers at 1,280 per airport on a daily basis.
But there is no limit on the number of outgoing passengers from the country.
The NCAA also added that each airline operator was entitled to only one frequency on an approved day of operation, irrespective of the capacity of aircraft utilised.
The limit on the number of passengers on incoming flights will be increased in
the coming weeks and additional flight frequencies will be allocated to airlines.
