Lieutenant General Lateef Adeosun made this assertion while inaugurating participants of the strategic management and policy studies course 3.
This is the 3rd batch of participants for the strategic management and policy studies organised by the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja
Participants are drawn from the Nigerian Military, ministries, department and agencies of government with the aim at looking at security from other perspectives
It is the task of the Chief of policy and plans, Nigerian Army, to inaugurate the participants nad before he performs this he explains that the defence and security challenges facing the nation requires more human
resource development, which is why this training is crucial.
The director general of the Nigerian Army resource Centre is in agreement and believes the course will enable participants analyse and proffer solutions to the security challenges
The Director is not too happy in the low number of women participants but is optimistic that as the course progresses, more women will register.
The effectiveness of the course is in areas of policy formulation and in helping both military and civilians understand policy decisions.
