U.S. President, Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the coronavirus.
President Trump disclosed this early Friday morning ia a tweet.
This development is coming after weeks of campaign that flouted covid-19 protocols, with mass gatherings and non-use of face masks.
The President had on Thursday, stated that him and his wife planned to quarantine after one of his closest aides tested positive for the virus.

At 74 years old, Mr Trump falls into the highest risk category for serious complications from the infection, which has killed more than 200,000 Americans and more than 1 million people worldwide.
