The Nigerian government has lifted the ban on Emirates Airlines from operating into and out of the country
This is based on the undertaking by the authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
A statement signed by Director, Public Affairs, Ministry of Aviation,James Odaudu says that the starting of the airline’s operations would depend on the commencement of visa issuance by the UAE.
According to the release, minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika said the decision was taken to protect the interest of the nation and its citizens who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, same way Nigeria treats other nationals.
