The rescheduled Nigeria professional football league game between Kwara United and Enyimba has been played in Ilorin.
The match was keenly contested from the blast of the referee’s whistle but the home team took the lead as early as the 6th minute when Steven Jude scored.
There was a flurry of attacking exchanges and chances were created, but the scoreline did not change as Kwara United won the game 1-0 and moved up to 8th place on the points table while Enyimba remained in 5th place.
Kwara United coach expressed satisfaction with his wards’ performance against Enyimba claiming that there is room for improvement.
“My players were relaxed against Akwa United in our first home game and that was the reason they faced Enyimba will will full strengths and thanks to God for us to have gotten the three needed points,” Biffo explained.
Kwara United are now occupying ninth position on the NPFL standings and the Harmony Boys will face Ifeanyi Ubah in Ilorin this coming Sunday 24th in next game.
