A meeting with members of the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders association and south west governors will hold any moment from now.
The meeting scheduled to take place at the dome in Akure followed the expiration of the seven day ultimatum given by the ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, to illegal herders in the state government reserves which begins today.
As at the time of filing this report, Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, Osun state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola as well as their Jigawa and Kebbi states counterparts have arrived the state.
A representative of the federal government and the miyyeti Allah cattle breeders association have also arrived the state.

Security men have been at strategic locations around the venue to forestall a breakdown of law and order.
Also, those who were allowed to enter the venue were thoroughly checked by security personnel with Covid-19 protocol in place.
The meeting became necessary following the expiration of the 7 day ultimatum given to the herders to vacate the Ondo state forest reserves by Governor Akeredolu
