The inter ministerial committee on the disposal of federal government of Nigeria forfeited Assets is meeting to give an update on the progress done by the team.
The 22 member committee set up by the minister of Justice Abubakar Malami last year was given a six month mandate to sell off all assets forfeited to the federal government.
The chairman of the committee and Solicitor General of the federation, Dayo Apata says that the committee has collated and is still updating the lost of all forfeited Assets to the federal government of Nigeria.
He added that the forfeited Assets are currently situated in 25 locations and the team will embark on an on-site verification and auditing of the Assets to confirm their existence and current state.
He assured that the committee will keep the public abreast of all developments and activities of the team as they go on.
