State Governors are currently holding talks in Abuja, this is the first physical meeting meeting since the outbreak of COVID-19 in February last year.
The main agenda of this meeting is INSECURITY as the governors are expected to pass a strong resolution that might proffer a lasting solution to the frightening rise in insecurity that has has crept into most parts of the country.
Earlier today, the senate passed a resolution urging president Muhammadu Buhari to declare insecurity a national emergency as it appears as of the situation has overwhelmed security agencies charged with maintaining peace and the protection of lives and property.
At the end of the Meeting, The chairman of the Governors Forum who is also the Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi will disclose the outcome of the meeting which is expected to be a consensus among the governors.
In attendance are more than 25 state Governors and those absent are represented by their deputies.
