Kebbi state Governor Atiku Bagudu has described the revalidation and reregistration exercise of the All Progressives Congress APC as a tool of strengthening democracy and good governance that should be supported by all party members.
Governor Bagudu who is the chairman Nigerian Progressives Governors Forum stated this shortly after he revalidated his membership of the party at the Nasarawa 2 Ward, Polling Unit, Rumfar Garkar Mai Alelu, Code 006 Birnin Kebbi.
He says the exercise will give all party members equal right and opportunity to present themselves for future elections.
Mr. Bagudu says the massive support the has enjoined is a testimony of the exemplary and credible leadership being provided by its National Leader, President Muhammadu Buhari .
He urged members and supporters of the party to emulate President Muhammadu Buhari who travelled to his hometown, Daura, Katsina State where he revalidated his APC membership.
Governor Bagudu assured party members of his total support towards the success of the exercise as he also urged them to be orderly as adequate materials for the exercise would be available.
In a related development, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has also revalidated his membership of the All Progressive Congress APC
The Minister was issued with a new APC membership card at Filin Mariya polling unit, Nasarawa1, Birnin-Kebbi, Local Government, Kebbi State.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the revalidation, the Minister called on party members and new entrants across the nation to participate in the exercise.
He says the APC-led Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari has done remarkably well in executing people oriented projects and programmes in Nigeria.
