A meeting between governors in northwest Nigeria and Service Chiefs at the instance of the National Security Adviser, Bagana Moguno already has most of the governors and the security heads in attendance.
The popular Arewa house in the state capital is the venue, and the environment is awash with security personnel.
Kidnapping, banditry, cattle rustling and other security concerns in the country will be major issues to be discussed.
The governors haven’t been on the same page on the way out of the situation, and the meeting is expected to evolve a collective approach on a way forward.

Among the governors are those from Kano, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kaduna and Sokoto states.
