All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State has expressed assurance that its candidates will win the three councillorship seats in tomorrow’s by-election.
The election follows the demise of the former three Councilors representing Lamurde, Guyuk and Kiri wards of Shelleng Council areas.

Meanwhile, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has tasked the Electoral Commission with a credible election devoid of fault of any shape in tomorrow’s ward elections in Lamurde, Guyuk and Kiri ward of Shelleng Council areas.
The governor says the Saturday election must usher in most popular candidates irrespective of affiliations.
Speaking at a campaign ground for his party candidates in the three wards, Governor Fintiri say his administration will not interfere in the election process.
Governor Fintiri, represented by his deputy, Crowther Seth noted that PDP certain victories are built around the projects executed by his government particularly the ongoing Cottage hospitals in Lamurde and Shelleng aside the planned upgrading of Guyuk Cottage.
Mr. Seth says Governor Fintiri as a grassroot politician respects grassroots politics hence the presence of big wig politicians in Lamurde to flag off the campaign.
The PDP Adamawa state Chairman, Barrister Tahir Shehu is confident of a victory in the 20th March as Lamurde, Kiri, and Guyuk wards go to the polls for their legislators.
While presenting party flags to the candidates, Barrister Tahir admonished them to be fair to the party when elected and make sure they deliver democratic dividends to their constituents.
Delivering goodwill messages, speakers in Lamurde, Kiri, and Guyuk wards acknowledge the political and development prowess of the governor, saying his successes so far made things easier for the party.
