Art works worth over three hundred million naira have been lost to fire that razed Osogbo Artist Village.
The cause of the incident which occurred overnight is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
The Acting curator of the Village, Lana Abiodun and the Coordinator of the village, described the incident as unfortunate urging Governments at all levels to come to their aid.
They also alleged that some of the art works were taken away before setting the building ablaze and want the police to investigate the incident.
The Art works lost to the inferno include wood carving, fabrics, metal works, batique, oil paintings, Hand woven clothes among others.
