An accident involving two trucks at the NASFAT U-Turn on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway has claimed the lives of the two motor boys on the trucks while leaving the two drivers and a commercial motorcyclist seriously injured.
The accident according to Commander Ojuoro Olusola of the Ogun State Traffic Enforcement agency, TRACE, occurred as a result of over speeding on the part of a containerised DAF truck outbound Lagos which had a head on collision with an HOWO truck belonging to logistics company, BHN which was negotiating the U-Turn.

The accident according to him left the two motor boys in both trucks dead and trapped in the wreckage while the driver of the DAF truck sustained leg injuries and the HOWO truck driver also sustained serious injuries, they have both been taken to a nearby hospital.
Both trucks had no plate number.
The accident has led to a rise in traffic congestion around the axis and all traffic and emergency agencies are working with the construction company, Julius Berger to clear the wreckage and ensure free flow of traffic.
