Team Kano has emerged the winner of the Gold medal in the handball event at the ongoing Edo sports festivals.
Kano state defeated Team Lagos 24-19.
Minister of youth and sports Sunday Dare was part of the spectators.
Meanwhile, Delta state top the Medals table with 95 gold, 74 silver and 65 bronze Medals .
The host state, Edo are second with 72 gold, 71 silver and 66 bronze for a total of 209 medals. Bayelsa are third with 41 gold, 39 silver and 42 bronze for a total of 122 medals.
Rivers, Lagos, Akwa ibom, Ogun, Kano, Oyo, Cross River states complete the top 10 states at the moment.
