The Ordinary Session of the 5th legislature of the ECOWAS Parliament has opened in Abuja.
In attendance at the opening session is the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Ado, who will be giving the opening address
Other dignities are the Vice President of Liberia, Nigeria’s senate President, Ghana’s foreign affairs minister among others
Issues of importance before the regional Parliament body is addressing and proffering solutions to the insecurity in the region, consolidation of democracy and good governance especially in Mali
New members of Parliament will also in sworn in.
