Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has once again called on citizens of the state to rise and defend themselves against the needless attacks by the ravaging armed bandits across the state.
He spoke on Wednesday while assessing the level of insecurity in the country as Muslim faithful celebrate the end of Ramadan fast.
Governor Ortom said the failure of security agencies to urgently address the situation has given rise to the attacks in different parts of the state.
