The Zamfara Police Command says it has secured the unconditional release of Eight kidnapped victims in Bungudu local government area of the state.
The victims were rescued in Kangon Sabuwa community after five days in captivity
They were kidnaped and taken to Kungurmi bandits camp but were rescued by troops without ransom paid.
The rescued Kidnap victims were medically checked by medical officials, debriefed by the Police and reunited with their families.
The rescue of the eight kidnapped victims by troops of the Zamfara state Police Command is coming three days after eighteen students of the college of Agriculture and Animal Science, Bakura were rescued through the assistance of some repentant bandits who embraced the Zamfara state peace deal with bandits.
