Zamfara state governor, Bello Matawalle has expressed happiness with the deployment of one hundred special forces to assist in tackling the Resurgence of Banditry and kidnapping in the state.
The Governor said the prompt response by president Muhammadu Buhari to the plights of communities bedeviled by the activities of criminal elements is worthy of commendation.
Mr. Matawalle stated this while granting audience to the General Officer Commanding 8 Division, Nigerian Army, Sokoto and the Commander Joint Task Force, Operation Hadarin Daji, Major General Uwem Bassey who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Gusau.
He assured that his administration will continue to give all necessary assistance in terms of logistics and support to the Nigerian Army and all security agencies in the ongoing fight against criminality in the state
