Bandits have abducted five persons in Moriki community in Zurmi local government area of Zamfara state.
Four of the victims are Islamic School Teachers and a son of the District Head of Bugaje, Zayyanu Bello.
TVC News reliably gathered that the gunmen stormed the community Wednesday night and started shooting sporadically to scare the locals
Food items and other valuables were carted away by the bandits
Zurmi local government is one of hotbed of banditry in Zamfara state. The local government have been experiencing attacks and abduction of persons in recent times
The father of the speaker Zamfara state House of Assembly Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, his step mother and six other persons were abducted in Zurmi local government twenty five days ago and are still in captivity
Efforts to speak to police Authorities in Zamfara yielded no result.
The latest abduction is coming less than twenty four hours after seventy three Students and staff of Government Day Secondary school Kaya in Maradun local government area were kidnaped.
