The newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the twenty one local government areas of Kebbi state have been advised to pay attention to the economic potential and other opportunities in their various domain.
Kebbi state governor, Atiku Bagudu gave the advised shortly after the elected council officials took their oath of office at a ceremony held at Birnin Kebbi.
He says the council executives should also be interested in how those economic potential can be developed and explore for the benefit of the nation and their immediate environment.
The governor said, with the oath of office administered on them, partisanship should be kept aside and work for the entirety of the people of the local government irrespective of political party affiliation.
The twenty one council chairmen and their vice chairmen are all of the All Progressives Congress APC and sixteen of the twenty and fifty five councillors elected across the twenty one.local government, sixteen of them are women.
