Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle has sworn in three Special Advisers
The new Special Advisers are Abdurrasheed Haruna, Turaki Yahaya Mafara, and Ibrahim Muhammed Lugga
The Oath of office was administered by the Zamfara State Chief Judge, Justice Kulu Aliyu
As it is the tradition in Zamfara, the newly appointed Special Advisers swear with the Holy Qur’an to prove their innocense in the lingering activities of armed bandits and other criminality
Speaking at the Swearing -in ceremony held at Council Chamber of the Government House Gusau, Governor Bello Matawalle says their appointments is based on the efforts of his Administration to always bring in capable hands who will lend their contributions in providing effective leadership in Zamfara
He urged the newly appointed Special Advisers to use their wealth of experience and knowledge towards accomplishing the mission of Government which is to restore peace in all parts of the State
Mr. Matawalle adds that their role as Special advisers essentially is to augment the role of the State Executive Council in order to add value and Credence to the Government and also to Complement the efforts of his Administration in moving the State to the highest pinnacle of development
The Governor expressed confident that the members of his team are people of proven integrity who are passionately working together to steer the ship and take the state to the promised land.
“Your total devotion to duty is non-negotiable and must be maintained at all times. Your people will closely watch you as representatives of the numerous communities that make up the State, therefore you must endeavour to always protect your personal integrity and that of the Government, at all costs” Matawalle Said.
