The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has moved the registration deadline for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry (DE) from February 12, 2022 to February 19, 2022.
The registration period will now expire on Saturday, March 26, 2022, due to a one-week delay in order to fine-tune the revised and more user-friendly candidate registration system, according to the examination body.
The process, which would be completed within the one-week extension period, was also geared at accommodating input from candidates and other stakeholders, according to JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin, who announced this on Tuesday in Abuja.
In addition, on Monday, February 14, 2022, the new and enhanced procedure for the 2022 UTME Registration would be made available on the board’s website, weekly bulletin, and other media channels.
Mr. Benjamin stated in the notice that candidates should closely follow the registration processes as specified by the board.
