Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has directed all political appointees running for elective offices in the forthcoming 2023 general elections to resign.
This directive was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar.
The directive according to the statement will elapse on Monday 18th April, 2022 to comply with Section 84 (12) of the newly amended Electoral Act.
