The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has extended its ongoing industrial action by another three months.
The decision was announced earlier today after its National Executive Council meeting.
The university lecturers said the decision becomes imperative following the failure of the federal government to meets its demands despite pleas from major stakeholders.
The union accused the federal government of jeopardising the future of Nigerian students with its handling of their demands.
