Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 25- year -old man, Destiny Agbaijoh, with two guns and cartridges along Ore-Okitipupa road.
The State Commandant of the NDLEA, Kayode Raji, while parading the suspect in Akure, said Mr. Agbaijoh was arrested during a stop and search operation.
Mr. Raji said that the suspect was arrested with one AK-47, one pump action, 91 bullets of 5.56 mm,16 cartridges and a cash of
N 347,000.
He said that the suspect attempted to bribe his men on duty with the cash found on him, which his men promptly rejected and took him into custody.
The NDLEA commandant stated that his command had completed its preliminary investigation and that the suspect would be turned over to the Nigerian Police for further action.
