Bandits have abducted unspecified number of worshippers in Zamfara Juma’at Mosque
The Gunmen stormed the Juma’at Mosque in Zugu village in Bukkuyum Local Government area and whisked away the persons while observing Juma’at prayer.
The Incident happened Friday afternoon between one and two o’clock in the afternoon
Police in Zamfara has Confirmed the Incident. Spokesperson of the Command, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said efforts of the combined security forces prevented the bandits from attacking surrounding villages.

He added that the Command has deployed additional Police tactical operatives to support the ongoing rescue operation
The police noted that normalcy has returned to the affected areas.
