British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ms Catriona Laing has visited the Kebbi state Police commissioner at the Command Headquarters in Gwadangwaje in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state.
The High Commissioner was at the command headquarters alongside other top personality of the High Commission.
A statement signed by the Spokesman of the command , DSP Nafiu Abubakar did not revealed the purpose of her visit, but says the High Commissioner came for a courtesy call.
Kebbi state has been relatively peaceful in the wake of the heightened cases of banditry in the North West geopolitical region until recently since the kidnap of the school children at the Federal Government College Birnin Yauri.
The Southern Senatorial district and communities in the Zuru area of the state have come under intense bandits attacks in recent time with several persons displaced and a number of casualties recorded.
