One hundred and fifty person’s benefited from the gesture which includes Screening for Covid-19, Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Blood Pressure among other Tests.
Free drugs were also donated to the Beneficiaries and those with serious health cases were referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau
The medical outreach was conducted by qualified medical experts Including Doctors, Laboratory Technicians and medical team of the Zamfara State Primary Healthcare Board among other health personnel.
Msugh Jeremiah Shimasaan, a 26yrs old corps member with registration number ZM/21C/0446 had in August this year constructed and renovated Convinces, Ablution Points, Over head water tank and Suggestion Box in a Mosque in Gusau, Zamfara State where he is serving
He said the move to carryout the medical outreach was borne out of his passion for Humanitarian Service and also to extend hands of Love, selfless service to both the inmates and Staff of the Service
Some of the drugs according to him were donated by the Zamfara State Drugs and Medical Consumables Management Agency
They Include, Unigen test kits, face masks, Sanitol hand wash, cotton wool, hand sanitizer, rubber plates and cups among other items

The scrap materials were picked up by Jeremiah and innovatively restructured, welded, and painted using the diverse colours on the logo of the National Youth Service Corps, in order to achieve the desired result
He noted that the project was carefully supervised from start to finish by the Gusau Local Government Inspector (LGI) of the NYSC, Lawal Shaibu
