The Delta State Government and police have intervened in the renewed clash between Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communities over land crisis which the state government through a committee has started demarcating the disputed boundary.
At the Meeting to resolve Their differences, Commissioner of Police and Special Adviser TO Governor Okowa on Peace Building and conflict resolution supervised the signing of a peace accord between the two communities.
The Government House Annex In Warri is venue for the meeting which is at the instance of the state government and the police with chairmen of the two local councils and community leaders.
They are here to chart a way forward and amicably resolve the land dispute.
