The Chairman of the Council is the Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, while the Focal Person is the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Ms Chiamaka Nnake.
Other members are the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, her Women Affairs counterpart, Mrs Ify Obinabo, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, and his Youth Empowerment counterpart, Mr Patrick Aghamba, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha, and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICT, Mr Chukwuemeka Agbat.
The Governor while addressing the members of the committee drawn from critical sectors of the economy, emphasised the need to maximise the human capital which Anambra State is blessed with.
The committee’s areas of reference include identifying the baseline for human capital development in the state and defining the state’s priorities for human capital development.
