The Ogun State Fire Service has appealed to residents of Matogun-Olambe area of the State to be calm as the fire outbreak caused by tanker explosion earlier today has been put out and situation is under control.
The Director of the state fire service, Fatai Odufala confirmed this to TVC News.
He noted that no life was lost and nobody sustain injury during the explosion which happened in the early hours of Saturday.
He confirmed that the scene of the incident has been cordoned-off while transloading to another truck was on-going as at the time of filling this report.
He added that the team of Ogun State Fire Service from Isheri and Ota are still on standby in the area to prevent anything that may lead to another fire outbreak during the process.
