The Federal Government approved the dredging of Orashi river from Oguta lake to in improve access for the Nigerian Navy to freely navigate the waterways.
Embarking on a tour of the area, the Governor expressed confidence that the project, when completed, will not only improve Naval operations but will also serve as a source of economic revitalisation.
The Nigerian Navy led by the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Navy Holdings Limited Rear Admiral Sileranda Lassa expressed readiness to partner the State government in harnessing the potentials of the maritime environment.
