The Royal father who spoke to Government House Correspondents shortly after meeting Governor Godwin Obaseki behind closed doors accused the CBN of pursuing ill thought monetary policies that have left Nigerians poorer rather than complement the strides of President Mohammadu Buhari.
He also commended the President for Reviving the rail transport system and blamed the deplorable state of the Benin-Auchi and other roads across the country on the failure of successive federal government administrations to implement the 1989 recommendations of the Committee on capitalization, Privatisation and Commercialization of Nigeria railway service
However, Governor Obaseki assures of the cooperation and support of the state government towards a successful rehabilitation of the failed parts of the Benin-Auchi Road by the federal ministry of works
