The FCT Council of the Sports writers Association of Nigeria has held a debate ahead of the elections into the board of the Nigeria football federation slated for 30th September, 2022 with Aspirants.
This debate is to have aspirants tell Nigerians why they should be elected into various position of the NFF board.
Aspirants took turns to share their vision and plans for the Federation.
With barely seven days to the Nigerian football federation’s election in Benin the momentum has been high with over 40 candidates cleared to vie for the different positions on the new NFF board.
The NFF Committee gave 11 contestants the pass to vie for the presidency while it disqualified two others from the race.
CAF’s Chief Safety & Security Officer, Christian Emeruwa, and FCT’s FA Chairman, Adam Mouktar Mohammed are before FCT Sports writers association of Nigeria to share their vision on how to transform the Nigeria football federation if elected into office.
Adam Mouktar Mohammed was quick to highlight his achievements as the FCT FA Chairman as a yardstick on why he should be trusted to do more.
Christian Emeruwa, on the other hand, is relying on his wealth of continental experience to make the NFF the envy of the world.
The event had journalists and football fans gather at the Nigeria Union of Journalist FCT Council Secretariat, in Abuja.
