The 4th edition of ‘theniche’ annual lecture is underway at the Muson centre, Agip hall, Ikeja Lagos.
The theme for this year is focused on 2023 elections and the future of Nigeria’s democracy.
Chairman of the event, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai says the current Nigeria presidential system is not working for the common good of the people , so the country should rather go back to parliamentary system of govt .
Keynote speaker, Minister of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola says the two major political parties has failed in implementing the subsidy.
The former Lagos state governor added that citizens of Nigeria should be the one to take the decision on subsidy.
Tanko Yakassai , an elder statesman will deliver a speech on the state of the nation, and why 2023 general elections will make or mar the country due to the current state of insecurity and economic woes in the country.
