A group known as Abia North Political Projects Advocacy Group has called on other Governorship candidates of different political parties from the Zone to drop their ambitions and cue behind the Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress.
According to the group, this will enable the zone win the governorship seat in the State.
Speaking at a Press conference in Umuahia, the Director General of the group said the effort is to ensure the next Governor of the State comes from Abia North in line with the charter of equity which has been practiced since 1999.

According to him, their Decision to narrow it down to the ADC candidate is based on his capacity, credibility and competence to rescue Abia State.
