The 32nd Convocation ceremonies of the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State is currently going on.
Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is the Special Guest of honor at the Ceremonies.
Other dignitaries at the event include the President of the 9th Senate Ahmed Lawan, Ministers of Defence and Education, Governor of Kaduna, Senior security officials and top scholars.
The event was declared open by the Chiarman of the NDA Council, Major General Salihi Magashi, the honorable minister of Defence.
The Nigerian Defence Academy is one of Africa’s top military institution which provides intellectual and professional platform for research in order to overcome the security threats challenging Nigeria.
The curriculum designed for cadets are aimed at producing intelligent and innovative officers prepared to defend the sovereign integrity of Nigeria without compromising their professional values or warrior ethos.
Among the students graduating today are 239 cadets and at least 1,654 Postgraduate students.
Honorary Doctorate degrees will also be conferred on some special guests.
