The Edo State Police command has paraded one suspect in the murder of Vivian Frank, a mother of 4 in Benin City.
The Police has been on the trail of the gang since she was killed more than 2 months ago.
On the 6th of August, a CCTV footage showing a four-member gang alleged to have been responsible for the murder of Vivian frank surfaced on social media.
Her husband shared it on his Instagram page calling for justice.
The video which has since gone viral showed the suspects brandishing their weapons after the alleged murder of Vivian in Evbomoma community, Benin City.
More than 2 months after the incident, the police manhunt for the suspects has eventually paid off.
Family members and eyewitnesses relive their memories of the brutal murder, and also called for justice.
The primary suspect admitted his involvement in the crime.
The suspect according to the police will be charged to court at the end of investigation while the search for others continues.
The murder of Vivian Frank had caused shock and consternation in Benin and had left many people wondering if it will be another case of unresolved murder like the ones which has claimed many high profile individuals in the Country for sometime now.
When mention is made of unresolved murders the likes of Marshal Harry, AK Dikibo, Ogbonnaya Uche all come to mind.
The arrest will also come as a much needed boost to the Police in the State following setbacks especially the activities of gunmen on the Benin-Ore Road and the Okenne-Okpella-Auchi-Ekpoma-Benin road.
It will also help in restoring confidence of residents in the ability of the Nigerian Police Force to solve major crimes with the help of Technology.
The Edo State Police Command will also take a lot of confidence from the arrest after such a public pursuit of the criminals involved in the gruesome murder of Vivian Frank.
