The Fire that occurred at The national office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), in Yaba, Lagos has been put out.
The incident occurred around 6:30am on Wednesday morning.
According to the body, the fire which started on the second floor was swiftly contained by a combined team of fire fighters.
No lives were lost, according to Moyosola Adesina, Head of Public Affairs at WAEC, and all significant papers and records were not damaged.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report
She added that no one was trapped and that those in the building have all been rescued and are in stable condition
