2023: APC only party organised to deliver on its promises-Faparusi

Nigerians are looking forward to who will definitely be the winner of the presidential primary presidential election, as well as other elective offices who will definitely take a hold sway among the dominant parties, the APC, the PDP, the Labor Party, the NNPP and so on.

Discussing the affairs of the APC ahead 2023 general elections, and how positioned the party is, Member of the PCC Tinubu/Shettima Campaign, a former member of the House of Representatives, Ekiti State, Honorable Bamidele Faparusi said on today’s edition of Standpoint that APC is the only party in the field at the moment.

According to Mr Faparusi, the APC is the party that is organised to deliver on this election.

He noted that with what is on ground, the party is set for the 2023 general elections.

“APC is the only party that has presented its Manifesto to Nigeria. An 80 page manifesto tag ‘renewed hope 2023’.

“We are set and prepared for this job. Our candidate is ready and prepared to take over the mantra of leadership of Nigeria.

“It is not just about rhetoric, or propaganda but about the issues which are currently confronting the nation.

Speaking further, Mr Faparusi said the issues mainly now is about security and economy, and the presidential candidate Asiwaju Tinubu has reeled out a strategic plan to address most of these challenges.

“A country is not built in a day, it’s a work in progress and our candidates have identified the gaps and loopholes that is mitigating against all these issues on security and economy and the manifesto has spelt out what will be done immediately Asiwaju and Shettima take over the mantle of leadership of Nigeria.

“The PCC has been inaugurated across the country and we are working assiduously round the clock to ensure that we deliver this election for our candidates.

Addressing issues of insecurity and the economy, Mr Faparusi stated that the current issues surrounding insecurity and others were problems inherited by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“This is a national problem, not just peculiar to APC.

“For eight years, this administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has invested so much in the military that has led us to where we are today.

“A lot of investment has gone into the this, a lot of progress has been made, though we are not where we were supposed to be, because the ugly head of insecurity kept arising day by day but it is a work in progress.

“The coming administration has identified some of the new loopholes that will be blocked to have an improved security.

Asiwaju has taken time with his team to look at what the issues are, the constraints, where the problems are that this current administration is facing that is not allowing this problem to be completely defeated.

Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu is trusted strategist who will bring his wealth of experience to bear, to address the issue of insecurity and the economy as it were today. It is not hopeless. Most of the problem with the economy are problems caused by ourselves.

“There are people sabotaging the economy and the government policies.

“All we need to do is to fight the enemy of the nation of which we have a lot of them among us,” he added.
