As the 2023 elections gradually draws closer, religious leaders across the country are also enlightening their followers on the upcoming election.
An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Rabiu Adebayo urged Nigerians to pray and vote for honest and competent leaders that would address insecurity and other challenges facing the country.
The Sheikh said this during the Sunday Asa-alt, a special
prayer for the country.

Sheikh Rabiu Adebayo is a renowned Islamic scholar and founder of Luth-Fula international, a non-political and merger of Prayer groups.
He says it is pertinent for Nigerians to pray hard for peace and stability and competent leaders who would serve the interest of the people.
Some of the faithful who spoke said what is most important is for Nigeria to have a leader who will save the country.
Sheikh Rabiu urged Muslims on the need to come out and vote for leaders of their choice.
At the event, Muslims and Nigerians at large were urged to emulate the virtues of the Prophet Mohammed who preached humility, honesty and love for others.
