The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya says more gun trucks will be deployed to various theaters of operations for effective use in ongoing campaigns against terrorists.
General Yahaya made this known at the Army Artillery Corps Arnold training exercise in Kachia, kaduna State.

The Chief of Army staff was the special guest of honor at the Nigerian Army Corps of artillery’s annual field training exercise Vulcan glow 8.
The exercise involved troops of formations competing in various aspects of artillery tactics, techniques and procedures.
It is the highest level of training by the Corp where their personnel and assets guns and other resources are deployed and test-fired.
Gun trucks that were spoilt have now been repaired and the chief says they will be deployed to various theaters to be used
in the fight against adversaries.
This is the second time in less than a month that the chief will reassure citizens of the Army’s commitment to ensure a conducive environment for the conduct of the 2023 general elections.
The Chief of Army staff stated that as elections are fast approaching, troops are intensifying efforts with operations which are yielding results.
General Yahaya is convinced that the deployment of these platforms, skills and competencies will go a long way to provide peace and
Security in the country.
