The Islamic Organisation, under the auspices of Al- Fatihiyya Movement of Nigeria has endorsed the APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bello Matawalle for second term as Zamfara State Governor
The group promised to join the campaign train to massively garner support for the two leaders to succeed in the 2023 General election.
They also promised to carry out a door-to-door campaign to ensure Victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Bello Matawalle and all APC Candidates across the country.
The Chairman of the Organization, Nuru Murtala Zawiyya stated this during a solidarity visit to Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara who doubles as the North West Campaign Coordinator of Tinubu/Shattima Campaign Organisation
He said the decision to endorse Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Bello Matawalle’s ticket in next year’s election was borne out of their assessment that the duo are of proven integrity and have contributed alot in solving some of the critical issues affecting Nigeria as a nation
Nuru Zawaiyya express the group’s profound gratitude and appreciation over the assistance given to them by Governor Bello Matawalle
They further commend his giant strides in tackling security challenges that has bedevilled Communities in the state and his quest for a more Peaceful Zamfara
Zawiyya assures that all Al-fathiyya members and followers will vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Bello Matawalle in Zamfara
On his part, the National Chairman of the group Shehu Mairiga iMatawalle, describing the Governor as peace maker, bridge builder and silent achiever who is the only hope for the people of Zamfara State.
Shehu Mairiga commended Governor Bello Matawalle for standing firm to protect people of the state and provide security not only in Zamfara but entire northwest, pointing out that as an Islamic organization, they will continue to pray for and support the Governor’s success.
“Our dear and dynamic Governor, friend and leader per excellence, we have not come here for politics, rather, we have come to thank you for all that you have done for us and the good people of Zamfara state, and at the same time to inform you that the entire members of Al-fathiyya Association of Nigeria and by extension the Tijjaniya sect in general are one hundred percent solidly behind your candidature come 2023, we also declare our full support to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates across the country” Mairiga.
Responding, Governor Bello Matawalle thanked the Group for finding him worthy of the visit and assurances ahead of next year’s election
Governor Matawalle said he is fully aware of the maximum support the Al-fathiyya Association of Nigeria is giving to the development of Zamfara and indeed the country in general, adding that their prayers and support have contributed immensely in achieving peace and tranquility in the state and the entire Northern region.
Mr. Matawalle also appreciates the group for endorsing his candidature and that of the APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC Candidates
The assured them that as leaders they will continue to do everything humanly possible to support and uplift the organization
“You have shown me support for several years, and I consider it a duty as a leader to support and encourage you as an Islamic organization for you to succeed in all your activities,” the governor assured.
The Al- Fatihiyya Movement of Nigeria honoured the Zamfara state Governor with an award of excellence as the best Governor in Security and Transformation.
